Our School of Information Technology was established as Australia´s first dedicated IT school in 1983 and is nationally renowned as a superior educator of IT professionals. QUT has the largest number of students studying Information Technology in Queensland, with our graduates boasting Queensland´s highest average starting salaries. Faculty facilities include sophisticated scientific and computing laboratories and state–of–the–art multimedia lecture theatres. We are located at QUT´s Gardens Point campus in Brisbane´s city centre, nestled between the Brisbane River, Parliament House and the City Botanic Gardens.
